In fact, we can group counsel employees who will be affected by the layoff to provide them critical information on filing for unemployment and using the services of our centers to help find their next job. This service is offered at no cost to either employers or your employees.

Also remember that WCF offers Employed Worker Training grants where employers may apply for up to $50,000, or even $100,000 in targeted industries, to enhance your training budget to build and enhance your employees’ skills to avoid a layoff. WCF reimburses employers half the direct cost of training through this program.
